THE LINEUP

The Fabulous Miss Nikki Bennett:

The quintessential showgirl – She may live on the Central Coast but Nikki Bennett has performed in 52 countries of the world and starred in Feature Films, TV Soap Operas and Stage Musicals. During the 2000’s she was one of the most popular musical guests on Australian Variety Television. Nikki has produced shows for hundreds of global events and is the writer and star of the theatre show, Invincible -The Helen Reddy Story, set to tour Australian theatres from March 2021.

Tessa Thames:

Some may recognise her as the voice of folk act Microwave Jenny, having toured Australia, NZ, Asia, the UK and playing festivals such as Bluesfest (Byron Bay), Woodford Folk Festival (Woodford), Friendship Festival (Seoul) & The Aussie BBQ (UK). Her music has been featured on television series Gods of Wheat Street (ABC1), Redfern Now (SBS), Offspring (Network 10), Winners & Losers (Seven Network) & Underbelly Chopper (The Nine Network). Now Tessa Thames unleashes her modern 90’s nostalgic pop on the world without any concern for who might be intimidated. MOTHER. DAUGHTER. SISTER. AUNTY. SINGER. SONGWRITER. FIRST NATIONS. CENTRAL COAST NSW.

Sam Windley:

Sam Windley is an emerging alternative artist, songwriter and surfer from the Central Coast of NSW. She is most often appreciated for her candid lyrics and her raw, modest vocal style. She has been working closely with Byron-based producer Billy Otto to craft her upcoming debut EP, featuring her latest track ‘Neighbours In The Morning’, co-written by Alex Lahey. Windley’s music is a uniquely ironic patchwork of indie-rock and folk/singer-songwriter genres, influenced by artists such as The Beatles, Nick Drake and Cate le Bon.

Corrie Hodson: Sensational, original teller of tales through her unique singer/ songwriter voice, proud Wiradjuri /Ngunnawal woman with family links and cultural ties to the Riverina region of NSW. A Central Coast local and an active member of the Aboriginal community on the Coast. Corrie has been singing, playing and writing music since her late teens and describes her style as something like inner city progressive folky blues, which isn’t actually a thing. She loves all things blues, roots, folk and country and the way that music can tell tales and weave stories but still leave the feeling up to the interpretation of the listener.

June Richards:

Australia’s tornado with lipstick. Working in the Drag industry for the past four years, June has often been seeing hopping up and down the Central Coast and throughout Sydney, hosting Drag Bingo and Trivia alongside Hen’s Parties, Birthdays and Wedding Anniversaries. June has been cited (by herself) as being a Queen of many talents excelling as a singer, comedienne, hostess extraordinaire and a vocal impressionist (just to name a few). June is (Covid) safe, classy and a great time!
