There’s more to being queer than coming out and getting married. Queerstories celebrates the culture and creativity of the LGBTQI+ community, one true story at a time. Vulnerable and fierce, hilarious and heartbreaking, Queerstories features incredible storytellers sharing the story they want to tell, but are never asked to; unexpected tales of pride, prejudice, resilience and resistance.

A national storytelling project directed by Maeve Marsden, Queerstories events have taken place around Australia, from Sydney to Melbourne, Hobart to Shepparton, Newcastle to Brisbane, to Albury, Adelaide, Mullumbimby, Mudgee and beyond. Each event, 6 LGBTQI+ storytellers share a tale from their lives, small windows into the magnificence of the queer community, experienced live and recorded for you.

At this time seating is pre-allocated as we adjust back from COVID setups.  If you want to sit next to specific people/friends at this time please ensure you purchase together.

COVID UPDATE: At this time all seating will be allocated to you at the door & based on 1st to purchase gets front row, last to purchase gets back row etc. If you want to sit with your family/mates purchase your tickets together (and get an awesome 10% discount). COVID QR Scanning and Temp check is mandatory.

We operate in accordance with all the updated NSW guidelines, if a mask is required indoors you will be asked to follow protocols which are not negotiable.
